Student Council Elections... Due date April 29th - Applications are in Mrs. Peters room.
FFA Plant Sale Thursday, Friday and Saturday... In the Greenhouse - First Come First Serve.
Extra Flowers and Plants from 7-12 Plant Sales... There are still some plants, grasses, and flowers left from the plant sales. If anyone is interested, please take time to browse through what is left until next week. Right now the plants are enjoying the soft rain.
AWARDS BANQUET.... The Meridian 2024 Awards Banquet will be held on May 3, 2024 in the school’s competition gym. Ricky’s will be catering the meal once again. The meal will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the presentation of awards at 6:00 p.m. The meal is free, but we will need an accurate head count by April 26. Please contact Trish at 402-446-7265 extension 2 or tendorf@meridianmustangs.org before then and let her know how many family members will be attending. If you see an MPIE member, please tell them “thank you” for once again helping to defray the cost.
Meridian 2024 Driver’s Education Class... The Driver’s Education Class is certified through the State of Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles. To take this class you will need to be 14 before October 14. The student will need to pass both the driving and the online course. The class will consist of 30-36 hours of online instruction, 5 hours of supervised practice driving, and a 10–15-minute driving test. The lecture part of the class will be the AAA How to Drive Online Course. You will need to email me at dean.filipi@emwolves.net to sign up for the class. The fee for the class is $305. Payment will be needed before you receive your pass code for the online class. Once you have completed the practice driving part of the course, we will meet in Exeter to take the driving test. Once you have completed the online class and email me the Certificate of Completion, I will enter you into the DMV system. We will do the driving part of the class this summer.
